Clyde E. Cameron, 74 of Aberdeen, NJ passed away On Tuesday April 10, 2018. He was born in Plainfield, NJ, moved to Morganville, Union Beach and for the last 50 years resided in Aberdeen, NJ. Clyde was a laborer for American Flange in Linden NJ for many years. He was very active and well known throughout the community. Clyde was very much involved with helping all the children in the area.
Clyde is predeacesed by his parents James and Christine Bengevenga Cameron, his brothers Frank and John Cameron and his sisters Angelina Frappier and Ellen Ehlers and a grandson Wayne Cameron Jr. He is survived by his loving wife Dorothy Smith Cameron, devoted children, Daughter Fayth Cameron of Aberdeen, and sons Clyde Jr. and his wife Debbie of Cliffwood, Wayne and his wife Melissa of Cliffwood, and Rick and his wife Christine of Aberdeen. Also surviving is a brother James Cameron of Howell, and sisters Carmella Bresnan of Arizona, Christine Leaman of Hazlet and Dorothy Torres of Jackson. Clyde also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren Jessica, Alex, Tyler, Clyde, Jacob, Lorna, Kyrsten, Mirranda, Kenny, Zachary and two great grandchildren Raven and Scarlet.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be Sunday April 15, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Day Funeral Home 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ 07735. A funeral gathering will be held Monday morning from 10-11 am at the funeral home. Interment will be at Forest Green Cemetery, Marlboro. In lieu of Flowers Donations may be made to Aberdeen Township PBA @ 1Aberdeen Square, Attn:PBA, Aberdeen NJ 07747.
