Claire L. (Marmone) Britanak

Claire Lucielle Britanak, 88, of Laurence Harbor, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 25, 2018.  Born in South Orange, N.J., she eventually moved to Laurence Harbor as a child with her family,  which became her life long home over 60 years ago.  While studying to become a nurse Claire started her family which became her primary focus.  Through the years she designed wedding cakes and was a florist.  She was a communicant of St. Lawrence RC Church and a member of the Rosarian Society. 

  Claire was predeceassed  by her beloved husband of 63 years, Joseph P. Britanak Sr., her parents Adelaide Goza and husband Glen Goza and her father Salvatore Marmone and his wife Shirley Marmone.  She is survived by her loving children, Joseph P. Britanak, Jr. and wife Joanna; Anthony L. Britanak; Thomas J. Britanak; and Jo-Ann Marie Grimaldi and husband Michael Grimaldi; 1 dear brother, Ralph Marmone and his wife Peggy; seven cherished grandchildren; Joseph J. Britanak and wife Kim, Rhea Britanak, Jeremy Britanak and wife Janet; Louis R. Grimaldi and wife Carrie, Michael J. Grimaldi, Anthony T. Grimaldi and Victoria M. Grimaldi; and 5 Great grandchildren; Nicholas, Aithan, Jaxon, Jaylin and Adelyn Lucielle, along with many loved nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed, and always in our hearts.
