Charles I. Frankenbush

Charles I. Frankenbush, 93 of Matawan passed away peacefully with his family by his side.

Charles was born in New York City to Carl and Harriet nee Fischer Frankenbush. He lived in the Bronx, moved to Old Bridge where he spent most of his life and moved to Matawan 5 years ago. He served our country in the US Navy during WWII then became a printer for Alert Typesetters in New York City for many years.

Charles was predeceased by his loving wife Florence in 1991. He is survived by daughters Barbara Staudt and Virginia Travis and his sons Richard and Kenneth. Charles is also survived by his ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren whom he cherished greatly.

Visitation for Charles will be Friday from 3-7pm at Day Funeral Home 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ 07735. The funeral will be Saturday 9am at the funeral home followed by a 10am Mass at St. Clements RCC, Matawan. Interment will follow at Forest Green Memorial Park Cemetery, Marlboro.
