Antonio "Tony" Bara

Antonio “Tony” Bara, 54, of Hazlet, passed away, Saturday, June 3, 2017, at home.  Born in Newark, he resided in Edison and Matawan, before settling in Hazlet four years ago.  He worked for Tom’s Ford, Hazlet, in the maintenance department.  Tony loved his Harley; working out and was a huge Giants fan.

Tony was predeceased by his parents, Edward Bara and Nina (Szafran) Bara; and a brother, Mark Bara.  He is survived by his beloved wife, Lisa Cook; and his siblings, George Bara of New Mexico; Linda Mieczkowski of Brick and Robert Bara of Newark.  He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.

At the direction of family, Tony will be privately cremated.  A memorial gathering will take place on Thursday, June 8, 2017, from 6-9PM, at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ  07735.  You may post a condolence or obtain directions to the funeral home through the website www.dayfuneralhome.com.
