Anna M. (Boyle) Fernandez

      Anna M. (Boyle) Fernandez, (Ann) 90, of Hazlet, peacefully passed away on Friday, July 20, 2018. Born in Manhattan, she was an avid New Yorker who loved her Irish heritage. In 1954, she married the love of her life Tony Fernandez and in 1962 they moved to the suburbs of Hazlet to raise their family.  Ann was a life long homemaker who cherished raising her three children and spoiling her three grandchildren. Later in life, Ann was an active member of the Hazlet, Holy Family and St. Benedict’s senior clubs. 
     Ann is predeceased by her parents;  Patrick Boyle and Anna (Mc Kernan) Boyle; and her brothers Patrick and Peter Boyle.
    She is survived by her beloved husband, Anthony Fernandez of Hazlet; her loving children; Kevin Fernandez of Hazlet; Ann Marie Hunt and her husband Francis of Wall; Tony Fernandez and his wife Susan of Jacksonville, Florida; and three cherished grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Mathew Hunt and 2nd Lt. Michael Fernandez USMC. Anna will be dearly missed, but never forgotten.
    Day Funeral Home of Keyport was entrusted with the arrangements.
    Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Monday, July 23, 2018, from 4PM to 7PM at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place Keyport, NJ 07735 and on Tuesday, July 24, 2018, 9AM at the funeral home for a 10AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Benedict's RC Church of Holmdel. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph's Mausoleum, of Keyport.
