Amelia (Mollie) McFadden, 89, of Cliffwood Beach, peacefully passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2018. Amelia was born in New York before moving to New Jersey and she was a homemaker. She was also a member of St. Joseph’s RC Church in Keyport.
Amelia is predeceased by her beloved husband, John McFadden; her parents Salvatore and Carmella (DiNapoli) Palmieri; and her grandson, Cody Murphy.
She is survived by her loving children, Deborah McFadden of Cliffwood Beach; Carol Smith and her husband Lee of Cliffwood Beach; John J. McFadden and his wife Karen of Keansburg; Linda Cooke and her husband William of Port St. Lucie, FL.
She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren; John, Shannon, Stacey, and Misty Cooke; Crystal, Dana, Jennafer, and Timmy Lavoie; Lee Smith; Gregory Giovinazzo and Ryan Murphy; and eleven precious great-grandchildren; Robert, Dominick, Tyler, Jade, Carson, John, Brittany, Landon, Lilly, Hayden, Jaelyn.
She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation for Amelia on Wednesday May 9, 2018 at Day Funeral Home located at 361 Maple Place Keyport, New Jersey 07735 from 2-4PM and 7-9PM; and on Thursday May 10, 2018, 9:15AM at the Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10AM at St. Joseph’s Church of Keyport.
Burial will follow in St Joseph’s Cemetery of Keyport.
