Alice F. (Nelson) Stone

Alice F. Stone, 87, of Cliffwood Beach, NJ peacefully passed away, Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at home.  Born in Jersey City she resided there until moving to Cliffwood Beach 63 years ago. She was a clerk for the Old Bridge Township Municipal Utilities Authority before retiring in 1992. She was also a member of the Old Bridge Seniors.

Alice was predeceased by her parents; Albert and Alice and her dear husband George. She is survived by her sisters Margaret Valentino of Weehawkin, Lorraine Mulvenna and her husband John of Belvidere, and Maureen Hofer and her husband Ron of Palm Coast, Florida. She also leaves behind her loving children, Deborah Brown and her husband John of Deerfield Beach, FL, Patricia Bocchino of Toms River, George and his wife Gloria of Port Monmouth, cherished grandchildren; Ted Polny and his wife Krista, Andrew Polny, Michele MacInnes and her husband Craig, Jeffery Polny, Jessica Stone, Jason Stone and her adored great grandchildren; Kaitlin MacInnes, Molly MacInnes, T.J. Polny and Zachary Polny.  She will be dearly missed by all that knew her.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation, Thursday, January 31, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9pm and Friday February 1, 2019, 9am followed by a 10am service at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ 07735..  Interment will follow at St. Josephs Cemetery, Keyport, NJ.
