Alice (Yackulich) Pfarr, 86, of Laurence Harbor, passed away, Monday, May 1, 2017, at the Meridian Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Shrewsbury. She was born in Phoenix (Fords), NJ, to the late John and Julia (Stassio) Yackulich. She was a homemaker and worked for Garden State Shippers, Keasbey. Alice was a member of the St. Lawrence Altar Rosary Society and the Old Bridge Seniors. Alice had a great sense of humor; and a strong bond of love for her family. She was truly a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Alice was predeceased by her beloved husband, Eugene, in 2004; her son, Brian, in 2009; and her siblings, Anna, Mary, Betty, Bertha, John Jr., and Veronica. She is survived by her loving daughter, Lynn Lotz and her husband Richard of Red Bank; two sisters, Irene Yackulich of Woodbridge and Julia Buglovsky of Sherborne, NY; two cherished grandchildren, Lisa McCabe of Fair Haven and Justin Lotz of Red Bank; and her adored great granddaughter, Keeley Lynn McCabe, whom she affectionately called “My Keeley.” She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered for her love and legacy that will go on forever.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 4, 2017, from 2-4 & 7-9PM, at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ 07735; and Friday, 9AM at the funeral home, with a 10AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Lawrence RC Church, Laurence Harbor.
