Lorraine Ruth (Downey) Edley

    Lorraine Ruth Edley, 71 of Laurence Harbor passed away Saturday April 13, 2023 at Bayshore Community Hospital of Holmdel.

    She was born in Perth Amboy to the late Lawrence Downey and Florence (Miller) Downey.

     Lorraine was a highschool graduate and for many years worked as a Bank Teller for Amboy Bank in the Matawan and Laurence Harbor areas.

    She is also predeceased by her loving siblings Lawrence Downey Jr., Roberta Baxter, John Downey, and Maryann McAndrew.

    Lorraine is survived by her beloved husband Roger Edley; loving children April Edley of Laurence Harbor, Tammy Edley and her husband Anthony Blaszka of Sayerville; her cherished grandchildren Adrian Blaszka and Casey Blaszka; and her loving brother Michael Downey.

    Friends and relatives are invited to a visitation for Lorraine on Thursday April 18, 2024 from 4-8PM at Day Funeral Home 361 Maple Place Keyport, New Jersey 07735 and again Friday April 19, 2024 at 9AM for time to be announced Funeral Service at the funeral home.

    Burial will follow in Shoreland Memorial Gardens of Hazlet.
