John M Boardwick

John M. Boardwick, 64, lifelong resident of Union Beach passed away Monday, March 4, 2024 at Complete Care Madison in Matawan. 

John is predeceased by his father, Francis Boardwick Sr.  He is survived by his mother; Charlotte Boardwick of Union Beach, loving children; Crystal Boardwick of Hazlet, Jordan Knapp of North Carolina, Reaghan Knapp and Partner Adrienna Knapp of Hazlet, adored grandchildren; Annabelle Clark and Logan Knapp.  John also leaves his siblings; Thomas and wife Adrian Boardwick of Middletown, Frank and wife Kathy Boardwick of Keyport, Carol Boardwick of Hazlet and Robert and Karen Boardwick of Union Beach.

John was self employed, an accomplished and skilled Carpenter building decks, framing, kitchen & bathroom remodel, installing windows and doors and finished trim for many satisfied customers. Johnnny’s compassion was Music and John was a gifted guitar player and had a company called Crystal Clear Sound Systems. John’s passion for Music enriched the lives of many, he seamlessly blended melondy with technical mastery creating soulful rhythms for many local bands. May Music continue to inspire, and his memory live on in the hearths of those who were touched by his talent and warmth. John’s favorite song: “Stairway to Heaven”

Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial visitation at the funeral home Saturday, March 9, 2024 from 3-6 PM.  In lieu of flowers please make donations to St.Jude Hospital at www.stjude.org in his name.
