Cyrilla Alexander

     Cyrilla Alexander, 88, of Aberdeen, New Jersey; passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Hackensack Meridian Health - Bayshore Medical Center in Holmdel.

     She was born in Coryal, Trinidad and Tobago, and came to the United States in 1991.

     Cyrilla worked as a Home Health Aide in New York for 28 years.

     She was predeceased by her loving husband Theophilus; her daughter Monica Charles; and her siblings Ullah, Maxwell, Dora, Paul and Evelyn (Kate).

     Cyrilla is survived by her beloved children Patrick, Alice, Elizabeth, Mary, and Margaret. And her siblings, Joycelyn, and Rodney.

     She also leaves behind 10 loving grandchildren; Aaron, D'Onna, André, Sade, Tracy, Gregory, Sean, Shelley-Ann, Nikillya, and Terrike; as well as six great-grandchildren; Nikolas, Samantha, Marc Anthony (AJ), Tyler, Skai, and Zion.

     She will be greatly missed by her daughter-in-law Carol, with whom she shared a special bond, son-in-law Darren, and grandson-in-law Trevor.

     At the request of the family Cyrilla will be privately cremated in New Jersey. A special memorial ceremony with the scattering of her ashes will follow in Trinidad.
