I was a patient of Docs for a few years now. He even worked on my daughter Victoria (12 yrs old). He was not only my chiropractor, i considered him a friend. I am so saddened by your loss. My appts with Doc would last maybe 15 min. but then i would be there for about an hour just chatting. He educated me so much in all different aspects from aches, pain management, weight loss, medicine, vitamins, marriage, children. He had all the answers for me. I enjoyed listening to him speak of his wife, children and grandkids and his brother. He always had the brag book ready to show pictures especially of the newest addition, his sons new baby. His eyes would light up when he spoke of them. He looked forward to relocating. I will miss him greatly. We were to see him this Monday. I thank God he put Doc in my life. So very sorry for your loss. He is with his lovely wife now. God Bless you all

I am saddened to hear of Dr. Alexanders' passing. I first met Dr. Alexander as a patient and then we became friends. I recently retired from the Hazlet Twsp. Police Dept. and I could always count on Dr. Alexander to help out with any community event that the PBA was doing. He was loved by the Business community as well a the citizens he helped through the years, he will be always remembered fondly and greatly missed.

Please accept my deepest sympathies on the loss of Richard. We were classmates at Beers Street School and then at Raritan (Township!) High. We were not close, but my memories of him are those of a kind and gentle man, with a good wit and sincerity. The world is surely somewhat darkened by his loss. I wish I could attend his memorial service, but it's a bit far from South Texas.

Rick was an admired colleague, mentor, and friend. His level of professionalism and ethics was "old school" and his passing is an unrecoverable loss for his patients and the Chiropractic profession. Any Chiropractic function in New Jersey was not complete if Rick wasn't participating. Personally, I will always remember he took the time to call me on my birthday- every year. He will be missed.
Our prayers go out to you all.

To the entire Alexander Family:
No words can express the loss we know you feel because we too are broken-hearted with Rick's passing.
Rick was invaluable to the chiropractic profession for so many years and I was extremely proud to present him last year with a Lifetime Achievement Award for the many years he gave to make the profession better for everyone.

To the Family of Richard,
Please accept my deepest sympathies. I just saw Richard at our 65/65 Reunion this past June. We talked about his loss of Cheryl and my recent loss of my Mom. He had a sadness in his eyes. I graduated Raritan High with Richard back in 1965. Last year the class of 66 had a reunion, and we were invited Friday night to Holiday Inn for a pre party. My husband, Wayne admired Richard''s tie. It had the Tazmanian Devil cartoon on it. Richard took the tie off and gave it to my husband. I will always remember him as a very kind person. I lived in Hazlet since 1962, but moved away in 1977. However when I came up to visit my mom, I would go to Richard for adjustments to my back. He will be missed terribly. Lovingly, Linda Geiger

I just wanted to add to what some others have been saying here... Dr. Alexander was one of the nicest people I have ever met. He was sweet and kind, full of knowledge and just like others mentioned, my adjustment would last only a few minutes, yet somehow I would be in his office for much longer. He made me question why I eat chicken, drink milk and that oatmeal cookies were ok for breakfast. I truly will miss him. I hope the family can find comfort in knowing what a great impact he has had on not only the community, but on us as individuals. May he rest in peace.
