Jessie L. (Beaman) Hyer, 87, of Keyport, passed away, Monday, June 25, 2012, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel, surrounded by her family.  Born in Newark, she resided in Union Beach before moving to Keyport.  Jessie was a homemaker.

Jessie was predeceased by her beloved husband, Wilmer Hyer; her parents, David and Edna Reed Beaman; and two brothers, David and Bruce Beaman.  She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Cafro of Boyertown, PA; and Esther Lewert and her husband Ronald of Keyport, with whom she lived; a sister, Dorothy Beaman of Union Beach; five cherished grandchildren, Janice, Dominic, Ronald Jr., Jaime and David; and six great-grandchildren. Jessie will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, June 28, 2012, 2-4 & 7-9PM at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport; and Friday, June 29, 2012, 10AM with a 10:30AM   service at the funeral home.  Interment to follow at Cedarwood Cemetery, Hazlet.  Memorial contributions may be made in Jessie’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association, 400 Morris Ave., Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834-1365.  To offer the family online condolences or for directions to the funeral home, please visit www.dayfuneralhome.com.

Sorry for the loss of your grandmother, it was always nice to have a visit from your grandmother and grandfather and see how they were so amazed to see our 4 little babies. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.
