Thomas J. Dougan, 47, of Hazlet, passed away, Monday, April 30, 2012, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in the Bronx, NY, he resided in Union Beach before moving to Hazlet 18 years ago. He worked as a mechanic at various places. His recent employment was with BMW of Freehold as a Master Technician.
Thomas was predeceased by his father, Thomas J. Dougan, Sr. in 2009; and a brother, John Dougan in 1965. He is survived by his beloved wife, Dawn DiMonaco Dougan; his loving children, Kelly, Erin, Shannon and Elizabeth Dougan, all of Hazlet; his devoted mother, Rosaleen Dougan of Union Beach; his dear siblings, Christopher Dougan, Rosaleen Greene and Peter Dougan, all of Union Beach; and many cherished nieces and nephews. Thomas will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Family and friends are invited Thursday, May 3, 2012, 2-4 & 7-9PM at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport; and Friday, May 4, 2012, 10AM at the funeral home, with an 11AM Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family RC Church, Union Beach.
