Luz Haydee Ruiz Diaz of Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, passed away Saturday June 9th, 2012 at Bayshore Health Care Center, Holmdel. She has lived in Matawan for the past 4 years. Luz raised her family in Jersey City. She was a religious person who loved music and her family.
Luz is predeceased by her husband, William Diaz; parents, Crispin and Rufina Ruiz; and her siblings, Roberto, Luis, Ramon, Raul, Caridad, Raquel, Carmen and Lydia. She is survived by her children, William Diaz Jr. and his wife Linda of Old Bridge, and Luis Diaz and his wife Mary Ann of Bloomfield; and 3 grandchildren, Laura Diaz, Justin Diaz, and Cassondra Diaz.
Family and friends are invited Monday, June 11, 2012, 5-9PM at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport; and Tuesday, 10:15AM at the Funeral Home for an 11AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ambrose RC Church, Old Bridge.
