William “Bill” C. Hankins, 64, of Old Bridge Township, passed away suddenly, Sunday, January 8, 2017, at home. Born in Excelsior Springs, MO, he was a graduate of William Jewell College, Liberty, MO and he resided in the Kansas City area before moving to New Jersey over 30 years ago. Bill was currently working in information technology for Bloomberg, L.P., New York, NY. He was a dedicated amateur photographer especially of his nieces' and nephews' special moments and loved the Kansas City Royals and Kansas City Chiefs.

Bill was predeceased by his parents, Oakley and Nelda (Trusdell) Hankins. He is survived by his beloved wife, Carole (Thompson) Hankins. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 12, 2017, from 2-4 & 7-9PM, at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ 07735; and Friday, January 13, 2017, 10AM, with a 10:30AM service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Bill to Network 21, 25 Jonathan Drive, Tinton Falls, NJ 07753.
