Thomas M. Collins

Thomas M. Collins, 74, of Ocean Grove, passed away, Friday, May 20, 2016, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Born in Red bank, he grew up in Cliffwood, before moving to Ocean Grove. He worked as a graphic designer and served as the Director of the Art Department for the Monmouth County Park System for 25 years.  Thomas loved life and people; and people loved him.

Thomas was predeceased by his brother, Robert Collins. He is survived by his loving sister, Margaret Collins; two dear brothers, William Collins and his wife Maureen and John Collins and his wife Victoria; one loving sister-in-law, Kathryn Collins, wife of Robert Collins; two precious nieces, Kathleen Peterson and her husband Craig and Christin Clark and her husband John; two dear nephews, Robert Collins and Michael Collins and his wife Natalie; six cherished great grand nieces and nephews, Connor, Kaitlyn, Johnny, Ray, Mack and Avery. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, May 22, 2016, from 4-8pm at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ 07735; and Monday, May 23, 2016, 10am at Day Funeral Home, with a 11am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Clements RC Church, Matawan.
