Stephen J. Hurley

Stephen J. Hurley, 36, of Hazlet, passed away, Sunday, February 18, 2018, at home.  Born in Brooklyn, he resided there before moving to Hazlet 33 years ago.  He worked as a car inspector with NJ Transit, Long Branch.  He loved his dog Snuggles and he was a fan of the Jets.

Stephen was predeceased by his father, Gerard Hurley in 2006.  He is survived by his wife, Maria (Donatiello) Hurley; his mother, Pamela (Bendas) Hurley; and two brothers, Gerard Hurley, Jr. and Sean Hurley, both of Hazlet.  He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.

Visitation will take place on Friday, February 23, 2018, from 10AM to 12PM, at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ  07735; with a funeral service at 11:30AM, followed by interment at St. Joseph Cemetery, Keyport.  You may post a condolence to the family at the funeral home website www.dayfuneralhome.com.
