Sherry M. Hoogerheide

Sherry Hoogerheide, 61, of Matawan, passed away Saturday, April 17th, 2010, at JFK Hospital, Edison. Born in Patterson, she lived in Eatontown, before moving to Matawan 12 years ago. Sherry was the past President of the Ladies Auxilary of the Elks, Lodge #2402, in Eatontown. She worked as secretary for Bob Scullary in Eatontown for five years. Sherry is predeceased by her mother, Shirley Therfall Van Dyk, and her brother, James Van Dyk. She is survived by her beloved husband, Donald Hoogerheide; her daughters, Shelley Donovan of Marlboro, Sandy Hoogerheide of Matawan, and Donna Hoogerheide of Matawan; her father,Henry Van Dyk; her sister, Cindy Waller of Somerset; and her grandchildren, Derrick Donovan, Whitney Donovan, and John Hoogerheide. Family and friends are invited Wednesday, 4-8PM, at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport. Cremation will be private.
