Shawn Michael Hurley

Shawn Michael Hurley, 47, of Trenton, passed away, Sunday, January 28, 2018, at Capital Health System at Fuld, Trenton.  He was born in Rahway and resided in Keansburg before moving to Trenton.  He enjoyed fishing and liked to help people.   He was a good dad and always cared about his family.  He loved to look good before he went out.  Once you were his friend, you were a friend for life.

Shawn was predeceased by his father, Joseph Hurley.  He is survived by his mother, Sheila (Marshall) Hurley; his loving daughter, Skylar Hurley of Texas; two sisters, Tammy Hurley and fiancé John of Bridgeton and Cherie Baitinger and husband David of Hamilton; three cherished nieces, Nicole, MacKenzie and Kelcie Redmond; and a precious great nephew, Peyton Zitani.  He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.

Visitation will take place on Friday, February 2, 2018, from 4-8PM, at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ  07735; with a prayer service during the visitation at the funeral home.  Cremation will be private.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family in memory of Shawn.  You may post a condolence to the family or obtain directions to the funeral home, through the website www.dayfuneralhome.com.
