Sean W. Davis

Sean W. Davis, 38, a lifelong resident of Matawan, passed away, Monday, May 18, 2015.  He was born in Freehold Twp.  He was a 1996 graduate of Matawan High School.  Sean was a jack of all trades, a real handyman.   He was a self-employed contractor. 

Sean was predeceased by his father, William A. Davis; his grandparents, William A. Sr. and Jenny Davis; and Edward J. and Catherine Flynn; and an uncle, Robert Davis.  He is survived by his mother, Patricia (Flynn) Davis; a beloved daughter, Riley A. Young-Davis and her mother, Alena Young, both of Seattle, WA; two brothers, Scott Davis and his wife Trina of Richmond, VA; and Robert Davis and his wife Sandy of York, PA; aunts and uncles, Edward J. and Carol Flynn of Robbinsville; Thomas J. and Sheri Flynn of Yardville; and Robert J. and Alicia Flynn of Pennington; nieces, Heather, Carrie and Jennifer Catherine Davis; nephews, Scotty and Tony Davis; cousins, Brad and Kelly Jolicour, Jason and Kathleen Ciarlante, Kevin and Allison Flynn, Katherine Flynn, Michael Flynn and Renee Kelly; and many loving friends.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Family and friends are invited Wednesday, May 20, 2015, from 4-8PM, at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ  07735; and Thursday, May 21, 2015, from 10AM at the funeral home, with an 11AM Funeral Mass at St. Clement RC Church, Matawan.  Cremation will be private.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Sean to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105.  To post an online condolence to the family or for directions to the funeral home, please visit www.dayfuneralhome.com.
