Sally (Maestro) Polce

Sally (Maestro) Polce, 89, of Old Bridge, passed away, Thursday, June 23, 2016, at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge.  Born in New York City, she resided in Brooklyn before moving to Old Bridge in 1990.  She worked as a school aide with Pershing Junior H.S./NYC Public School System.  She was a member of the Red Hat Society.

Sally was predeceased by her beloved husband, Mario Polce; and her parents, Giorgio and Carmela (Silvestri) Maestro.  She is survived by her loving children, James Polce of Middletown; Christine Polce of Bedford, TX; Mario Polce and wife Menlo of San Francisco, CA; Laraine Catalano and husband Pat of Manalapan; and Adrienne Cirillo and husband Joseph of Matawan; a sister-in-law, Rita Maestro of FL; 13 cherished grandchildren; and four precious great grandchildren.  She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends.

Visitation will take place Sunday, June 26, 2016, from 2-5 & 7-9PM at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ  07735; and Monday, June 27, 2016, 8:30AM at the funeral home, with an 9:15AM Funeral Mass at St. Joseph RC Church, Keyport.  Interment will follow at Moravian Cemetery, Staten Island, NY.  To post a condolence to the family or for directions to the funeral home, please visit www.dayfuneralhome.com.
