Robert “Robbie” Kenneth Pacansky, 47, of Aberdeen, passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2015, one day after his birthday, in East Stroudsburg, PA, while visiting extended family. After several weeks in ICU, he succumbed to a staph infection. He was born in Edison to the late Joseph and Carol Ann Pacansky. An avid sports enthusiast from a young age, he played baseball, enjoyed bowling and had a monster golf swing. Being somewhat of a maverick and a teddy bear at the same time, he married for the first time at the age of 43. Robbie was a skilled cook and loved to grill. He became disabled from a car accident in 2007, but he kept a “never give up” attitude, and he continued to do everything he considered important to him, for as long as he could.
Robbie was predeceased by his parents; and a brother, Scott in 1976. He is survived by his beloved wife, Debbie; a stepdaughter, Lisa Marie; brothers, Joseph Jr. of Old Bridge; Jeffrey and wife Lori of Monroe Twp.; and Steven of South Amboy; a niece, Amy-Leigh; nephews, Kevin, Eric, Zachary, Connor and Scott; and Godparents, Claire and Kenneth. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Family and friends are invited Monday, February 23, 2015, from 6-9PM at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ 07735; and Tuesday, 9AM at the funeral home, with a 10AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Benedict RC Church, Holmdel.
