Robert F. Lewicki Sr.

Robert F. Lewicki Sr. 79, of Old Bridge, passed away, Saturday, May 27, 2017. Born in Perth Amboy, he grew up in Matawan and settled in Old Bridge.  He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.  He was a Laboratory Research Technician for over 30 years at Exxon, Linden, NJ.  Robert was a parishioner of Most Holy Redeemer RC Church Old Bridge, an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish and, above all, he was a devoted husband, father and son.

Robert is predeceased by his father Francis and his brother Richard.  He is survived by June, his beloved wife of 57 years. He is also survived by his dear mother Nancy Lewicki of Old Bridge, nine loving children, Robert Jr and his wife Karen of Milltown, James and his wife Karen of Old Bridge, Stephen of South Amboy, Joseph of Old Bridge, Mary Giusti and her husband John of Old Bridge, John of Old Bridge, Susan Lewicki of Old Bridge, Thomas of Berkeley Twp and Judy Lewicki of Old Bridge; five cherished grandchildren, Melissa and John Giusti, Jamielynn and Tara Little and Chris Nicholson; a great grandchild Daelyn Nicholson; a sister-in-law Judy Lewicki; nephew Mark Reigelsperger; niece Sheri Ahearn and many cousins.  He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, May 31, 2017, from 2-4 & 7-9PM, at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport NJ 07735; and Thursday June 1, 2017, 9AM at the funeral home followed by a 10AM Mass at Most Holy Redeemer RC Church, Old Bridge.  Burial will follow at Old Tennent Cemetery, Manalapan.  To post condolences to the family or to obtain directions please visit www.dayfuneralhome.com
