Robert J. Gallopo, 66, of Keansburg, passed away, Thursday, January 21, 2016, at Bayshore Health Care, Holmdel. Born in Long Branch, he lived most of his life in Union Beach before moving to Keansburg. He worked as a custodian with Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel.
Robert was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Carol (Lawles) Gallopo, Jr.; and a sister, Cheryl. He is survived by a daughter, Lisa Gallopo; a cousin, Lydia Gallopo; siblings, Gary Joseph, and Kevin Gallopo, JoAnn McGowen, Holly and Carolyn Gallopo and William Siegle; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 28, 2016, from 2-4PM and 7-9PM, at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ 07735 with a service during the evening calling hours (a time to be announced).
