Peter Mancuso

Peter Mancuso, 95, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2017, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel.

He was born in Brooklyn and later moved to New Jersey.  He served in WWII from 1943 through 1946.  He was very devoted to his family.

Peter was predeceased by his beloved wife, Rosalie “Grace” and all his brothers and sisters, Joe, Dom, Andy, Sal, Josephine and Martha.  He is survived by three loving children, Michael (Andrea), Rose Hildrith (Jim) and Diane Yodice (Ed); six cherished grandchildren, Jennifer, Lisa, Nicole, Christina, Michele and Christopher; three precious great grandchildren, Erik, Ryan and Grace; and his long time companion, Clementine Sorge.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.  His energy and zest for life were immeasurable.  He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, March 31, 2017, 2-4 & 7-9PM, at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ  07735; and Saturday, April 1, 2017, 8AM at the funeral home, with a 9AM Funeral Mass at St. Lawrence RC Church, Laurence Harbor.  Interment will follow at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown.  You may post a condolence to the family or obtain directions to the funeral home at www.dayfuneralhome.com.
