Mildred L. (Hodge) Brookins, 82, of Holmdel, passed away, Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at Care One Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Holmdel. She was born, raised and resided in Jersey City prior to settling in Holmdel. She was a homemaker.
Mildred was predeceased by her parents, Charles Hodge and Londa (Webb) Williams; and a daughter, Sheila Sealy. She is survived by her loving children, Patricia Ann Thurman; Renee Brookins; Vanessa Tyree Chirumbolo; Floyd Brookins; Valerie Brookins; and Kathy Brookins; 14 siblings; and 12 grandchildren. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.
Visitation will take place on Monday, July 17, 2017, from 12PM-1PM, at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ 07735, with a 1PM Prayer Service at the funeral home.
