Manuel E. Polanco

Manuel E. Polanco, 62, of Aberdeen, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Sanchez, Dominican Republic, his family relocated to the United States, settling in Brooklyn, NY. He worked as a Truck Driver for Christopher Ranch Garlic, Edison. He was a member of Faith Chapel, Union Beach; and enjoyed fishing, flea marketing and camping. Since his teenager years, Manuel became a musician, playing the guitar and singing.

Manuel was predeceased by his father, Manuel Polanco; and his brother, Ralph. He is survived by his beloved wife, Lauren (Salerno) Polanco; four loving children, Melanie, Vanessa, Daniel and Emmanuel and two stepchildren, William and Kristen; his devoted mother, Maria Socorro Alvarado; seven dear siblings, Fatima, Millie, Pia, Xiomara, Ana, Juana, and Frank;  four cherished grandchildren, Serenity, Owen, Wayne and Thiago; two sisters-in-law Louise and Tammy;  three brothers-in-law, Frank, Al, and Lawrence; two sons-in-law, Dennis and Michael and his stepmother, Margot. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.

At the direction of the family, Manuel will be privately cremated.
