Luz A. Zambrano, 83, of Bronx, NY, passed away, Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. She was born in Peru, where she worked as a self-employed cosmetologist. She relocated to the United States and resided in the Bronx.
Luz was predeceased by her beloved husband, Mario Zambrano. She is survived by her loving children, Felix Zambrano of Peru; Elena Brown of Arizona; and Rosa Florindo of Matawan; nine cherished grandchildren; and six precious great-grandchildren, with one on the way. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, July 30, 2016, from 9-10:15 AM at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ 07735, with a 10:30AM Spanish Mass at Jesus the Lord Church, 123 Broad St., Keyport, NJ 07735. Cremation will be private.
