Libby (Siegel) Provdo

Libby (Siegel) Provdo, 87, of Aberdeen, passed away, Sunday, July 3, 2016, at home.  She was born in Brooklyn, NY.  Libby was an original, who was a loving mother and ran the show in the household.  She enjoyed playing bingo at St. Thomas Aquinas and St. Clement Church; and she loved Snoopy from the Peanuts.

Libby was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Gussie (Schneider) Siegel; and her siblings, Anne Sussnow and Ruth Siegel.  She is survived by her beloved husband, Eli Provdo; her loving son, Glenn Provdo and his wife Mary of Barnegat; two cherished grandchildren, Joseph Provdo of Little Egg Harbor; and Diana Gorbe and her husband Robert of Barnegat; and her adored great grandson, Joseph Osborne, whom she loved dearly.  She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, July 6, 2016, 9-11AM, at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ  07735, with an 11AM service at the funeral home.  Interment will follow at Forest Green Memorial Park, Morganville.  You may post a condolence at the funeral home website for the family and obtain directions to the funeral home.
