Laverne M DellaPietro

Laverne Marie DellaPietro 87, of Matawan passed away October 6, 2015 in Holmdel, NJ.

She was a lifelong resident of Matawan, and a graduate of Matawan High School. Laverne retired as Assistant Vice President/ Manager of Central Jersey Bank and Trust, Marlboro after 49 years of service in 1995. She went on to volunteer at Bayshore Community Hospital and was an active member of St. Clements Senior Club and St. Clements Church.

Laverne was predeceased by her parents John and Esther Bertram, and her devoted husband Frank E. DellaPietro. Surviving are four sister in laws Theresa Esposito, Antoinette Guisti, Lillian DellaPietro of Matawan and Lucille DellaPietro of Keyport. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Friday October 9, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Day Funeral Home 361 Maple Place, Keyport NJ 07735. Saturday October 10, 2015 9:00am at the funeral home family and friends will gather before a 10am Mass at St. Clements RC Church, Matawan. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Keyport.
