Larry G. Ryan

Larry G. Ryan, 66, of Laurence Harbor, passed away, Sunday, July 30, 2017, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel.  He was born and raised in Perth Amboy.  He retired in 2009, after over 25 years of service as a custodian with the Woodbridge Public School System.  He was a past member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Woodbridge.  Larry liked the outdoors, he loved to fish and vacationed in Pennsylvania. He was a Free spirit, who loved to make people laugh and feel good about themselves. He camped and spent time with family at Jenny Jump State Park, Hope, NJ.  He also loved to watch war, western movies and listen to country music. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Larry was predeceased by his parents, William P. and Claire K. (Wetzel) Ryan; and his brother, William Ryan.  He is survived by his beloved wife, Carol L. Manganaro; two loving daughters, Samantha Krupa and her husband Matthew and Amanda Ryan; two siblings, Claire Lynch and John Ryan; a loving cousin, Julius Kovach; and two cherished grandchildren, Tyler and Lily Krupa.  He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.

At the direction of family, Larry was privately cremated.  A Memorial Visitation will take place on Friday, August 4, 2017, from 3-5 & 7-9PM, with a 7:30PM Memorial Service, at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ  07735.  You may post a condolence to the family or obtain directions to the funeral home at www.dayfuneralhome.com.
