Kent Sanders

Kent Sanders, 73, of Union Beach, passed away, Sunday, August 20, 2017, at home.  Born in Orange, NJ, he resided in Middletown prior to settling in Union Beach 19 years ago.  He worked as a diesel mechanic with Allied Truck, Newark, before retiring.  Kent served his country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam.  He was a life member of the Middletown First-Aid. 

Kent was predeceased by a daughter, Kelly Ann Sanders.  He is survived by his beloved wife, Robin (Frank) Sanders; a daughter, Michelle Stone of Keyport; a sister, Patricia Meyers of Eatontown; three cherished grandchildren, Jessica Polson of Matawan; Bryanna Polson of Union Beach; and Damien Stone of Union Beach; and a precious great granddaughter, Victoria Santiago.  He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, August 27, 2017, from 5-8PM, at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ  07735.  Cremation will be private.  You may post a condolence to the family or obtain directions to the funeral home through the website www.dayfuneralhome.com.
