June l. (Fautz) Flohs

June L. (Fautz) Flohs, 84, of Lakewood, passed away, Sunday, April 17, 2016, at Ocean Medical Center, Brick.  She was born in Newark and resided in Cliffwood Beach prior to moving to Lakewood.  June’s husband, Martin Flohs, started the kitchen/bathroom business known as Flor-Dar, Inc., Cliffwood Beach.  After his death, June took over the operation of the business until she retired and passed the business on to her children. 

June was predeceased by her beloved husband, Martin Flohs; and her parents, Charles and Lillian Fautz.  She is survived by her loving children, Bonnie Rutledge and husband Ronnie of Ft. Worth, TX; Martin Flohs and wife Daryl of Bayville; Wayne Flohs and wife Jacqueline of Toms River; George Flohs and wife Doris of Jackson; and Carl Flohs and wife Sharon of Brick; a brother, Chuck Fautz of Brick and a sister, Joyce DeAlmeada of Newark; 14 cherished grandchildren; and seven precious great grandchildren.  She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends.

Visitation will take place Wednesday, April 20, 2016, from 2-4 & 7-9PM, at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ 07735; and Thursday, April 21, 2016, 10AM, with a 10:30 AM service at the funeral home.  Interment will follow at Shoreland Memorial Gardens, Hazlet.  To post a condolence to the family or for directions to the funeral home, please visit www.dayfuneralhome.com.
