John W. Kearns
September 1, 1921 ~ March 2, 2015 (age 93) 93 Years OldJohn W. Kearns, 93, Allentown, PA, passed away, Monday, March 2, 2015. Born in Perth Amboy, he resided in Cliffwood and Cheesequake Village, Old Bridge, before moving to Jackson, then Allentown, PA. He served his country in the Army Air Force during WWII and was awarded the Purple Heart. He was shot down over Austria and was a prisoner of war for 15 months. He worked as a dispatcher with Nappi Trucking, Matawan/Old Bridge, from 1957-1984. He was a member of the WWII Club in Jackson.
John was predeceased by his beloved wife, Jacqueline (Kreamer) Kearns in 2007; and a son, William J. Kearns. He is survived by a son, John Kearns and wife Sharon of Bethlehem, PA; a daughter, Judy O’Donnell and husband Jim of Jackson; seven cherished grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
