John L. Clymore, Jr.

John L. Clymore, Jr., 47, of Keyport, passed away, Friday, April 29, 2016, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel.  Born in Jersey City, he resided in Union Beach before moving to Keyport two and a half years ago.  John was a recipient of the Commission for the Blind and worked for Cursillo, a Catholic Organization; and Kairos, a Prison Ministry.

John was predeceased by his first wife, Gina Marie; and a brother, Kevin Clymore.  He is survived by his wife, Gail (Welch) Clymore; his parents, John L. and Marilyn (Ditmeyer) Clymore, Sr. of Union Beach; two stepchildren, Amanda Welch and Ryan Zilberman, both of Keansburg; and his siblings, Paul Clymore of PA; Lisa Edgeworth of Lanoka Harbor; and Scott Clymore of Union Beach.  He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, May 3, 2016, from 2-4 & 7-9PM, at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ  07735; and Wednesday, May 4, 2016, 9AM at the funeral home, with a 10AM Mass of Christian Burial at Jesus the Lord Church, Keyport.  Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Keyport.  You may post a condolence to the family or obtain directions to the funeral home from the website www.dayfuneralhome.com.
