Janet (Juba) Deuerlein

Janet (Juba) Deuerlein, 74, of Hazlet, passed away, Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at Regency Park Nursing and Rehabilitation, Hazlet.  She was born in Newark; and resided in Parlin prior to settling in Hazlet.  She worked as a Docket Clerk with the New Brunswick Superior Court for 20 years.  She was a past member of the Sayreville Elks.

Janet was predeceased by her first husband, James Kasell; and her 2nd husband, Richard Deuerlein; and two sons, William and Kevin.  She is survived by her loving daughter, Kimberly Sobieski of Keyport; two sisters, Doreen Geuerriero of North Arlington and Mary Ann George of NJ; and two cherished grandchildren, Jordyn and Savanna Sobieski.  She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, November 25, 2017, from 2-4 & 7-9PM, at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ  07735, with a 3:30PM funeral service at the funeral home.  Cremation will be private.  You may post a condolence to the family or obtain directions to the funeral home, through this website www.dayfuneralhome.com.
