James L. Pezet, Sr.

James L. Pezet, Sr., 49, of Oakhurst, passed away, Saturday, September 19, 2015, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune.  He was raised in Union Beach, and currently resided in Oakhurst.  He worked as an electrician with NJ Transit, Long Branch.  He was a member of the IBEW #1684 Local. He was first and foremost an exceptional father and devoted husband.  His passion was riding and designing his motorcycles.

James was predeceased by his brother, George J. Pezet, Jr.   He is survived by his beloved wife, April (Zimmerman) Pezet; two loving and cherished children, James Jr. and Julia; his father, George Pezet, Sr. and his wife Joanne of Metuchen; his mother, JoAnne Rothermel and her husband William of Union Beach; a niece Jennifer and a nephew George III.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
