Jacob J. Nicora, 30, of Philadelphia, passed away, Friday, July 22, 2016, at Newark Beth Israel, Newark. Born in Long Branch, he resided in Red Bank and Plymouth Meeting, PA, before moving to Philadelphia. He worked as a veterinary nurse for ACCT Philadelphia.
Jacob was predeceased by his father, Gary Muller, his grandfather, James Nicora Sr., and his grandmother, Virginia Muller. He is survived by his mother, Carol Tanchak and husband John of Red Bank, his grandmother, Lois Nicora of Matawan, his grandfather, Andrew Muller of Toms River; siblings, Gary Tanchak of San Jose, CA.; John Tanchak of Red Bank and Kristen Tanchak of Red Bank; his partner, Samuel Richman of Philadelphia; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 27, 2016, from 2-4PM and 6-9PM, at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ 07735. At the direction of the family, Jacob will be privately cremated.
