Gloria S. (Marinella) Atkins

Gloria S. (Marinella) Atkins, 77, of Old Bridge Township/Cheesequake Village, passed away, Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel.  She was born and raised in Union Beach.  She worked as a secretary for Dr. Baumlin, Holmdel, for 25 years.  She was a parishioner of Holy Family RC Church, Union Beach.

Gloria was predeceased by her parents, William and Filomena (Julian) Marinella; and her brothers Frank Marinella and William Marinella, Jr.   She is survived by her beloved husband, Julian E. Atkins; her sister-in-law Mary Marinella; two loving children, Lori Illingworth and Jay Atkins and his wife Dawn; four cherished grandchildren, Drew, Dana, Nicholas and Jason; and many nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends.
