Gary Alan-Seidenberg

Gary Alan Seidenberg, 56, New York, suddenly passed away at his home on Wednesday, September 27, 2017.

Gary was born December 14, 1960, in Newark, NJ and raised in Hazlet, NJ.  He graduated from Monmouth University with a degree in English. Gary worked in various fields, but his passion was traveling worldwide as a warrior of peace, leaving his footprints in the lives of everyone he met along the way.

He is survived by his father, Sanford A. Seidenberg, Freehold;  his brothers David (Laurie) Seidenberg, Red Bank, Michael (Debbie) Seidenberg, Williamstown; sisters Erna (Mike) Cohen, Forked River, Helen (Nick) Prato, Cary, NC, Randy (Tim) Kinsley, Manhasset, NY, Stacey (Richard) Kerins, Westbury, NY and Tracey (George) Droukas, White Plains, NY; Along with his pride and joy, 24 nieces, nephews, grand nieces, nephews and their pets.

He is preceded in death by grandparents John and Helen Frazer, Frank and Bessie Seidenberg, and mother, Erna Frazer Seidenberg.

Gary enjoyed reading books that explored the deeper meanings of life, and sharing a wealth of knowledge gained from life's experiences with the ones he loved. To understand how far and deep his love for family went, look no further than his 24 nieces(grand) and nephews(grand); never missing a competition or sporting event.  Gary was their biggest fan, strongest supporter, and now guardian angel. In a room full of people, he was the one to make everyone laugh until their bellies hurt, or tearing up the dance floor well after the music stopped. It comes as no surprise that Gary’s favorite word was universe and often quoted, “ Uni means one and verse means song, therefore life was one big song”. His one song was of peace, laughter and love. Gary may be gone, but his song will forever play in our hearts and we will rejoice in the memories he left us long after the music stops.
