Frederick J Geores

Frederick J. Geores, of Keyport passed away peacefully at Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel, at the age of 77. He was born in South Amboy, and lived in Laurence Harbor for fifty-eight years with his beloved wife Agnes (Finnegen) Geores. Frederick served in the Marine Corps, and he was a school custodian for Old Bridge Twp. Board of Education for nineteen years before retiring in 1983. He was a life member of the Laurence Harbor Fire Company serving as chaplain, past president, treasurer and fire commissioner. Frederick was the Charter Grand Knight for Knights of Columbus Saint Lawrence Council.

Frederick is survived by his wife Agnes Geores. He is predeceased by his parents Leonard and Bernice (Seamans) Geores; his brother Leonard and sisters Bernice and Anne.

He will be dearly missed by all those who knew him.

Family and friends are invited for visitation for Frederick on Tuesday December 26th & Wednesday December 27th from 2-4 and 7-9 at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport New Jersey 07735. A Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Lawrence RCC on Thursday December 28th 2017 at 9AM. Mr. Geores will be privately cremated.
