Frank Barberio, 81, of Cliffwood Beach, passed away, Thursday, March 8, 2018, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. He was born in Newark, NJ to the late Antonio and Catherine Barberio. He has lived in Cliffwood Beach for the past 50 years. He served in the U.S. Army during peacetime, and then was a teamster truck driver for Pau'ls Trucking and Pathmark in Woodbridge, NJ. Frank loved music and was a drummer that recorded an album and was part of the opening band for Connie Francis. A highlight of his life, besides his grandchildren, was the trip he took to Italy and Sicily with his late wife.
Frank was predeceased by his beloved wife Lucille in 2013. He is survived by his two sons, Frank Jr. and Marc, both of Cliffwood Beach; a brother Martin of Toms River and three cherished grandchildren, Brandon Mastres and Anthony and Joseph Barberio.
