Elaine C. (Raska) Prohaska

Elaine C. Prohaska, 72, of Middletown, passed away, Saturday, May 27, 2017, at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Born in Omaha, Nebraska, she later moved to Middletown. She was a parishioner of St. Catherine’s Church, Middletown. Elaine was an avid animal lover and loved spending time with her family.

She is predeceased by her parents, Albert and Dorothy (Wienka) Raska;  her son, Bruce Prohaska and her sister, Linda Raska. She is survived by three sons, Joseph Prohaska and his wife JoAnn, Steven Prohaska and his wife Kira, and Alan Prohaska; two daughters Marykay Antonucci and her husband Ronald and Khristine Casaletto and her husband Chief Butch; one brother, Albert Raska; eight grandchildren, Kandice Kolb, Robert Kelly, Hunter Prohaska, Avery Prohaska, John Caverly, Justin Caverly, Ronald Antonucci and Nicholas Antonucci; and many great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 1, 2017, from 6:30-8:30 PM, at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Pl., Keyport, NJ 07735, with a prayer service 8PM at the funeral home.
