Dorothy E. (Ryan) Everson

Dorothy E. (Ryan) Everson, 89, of Keyport, passed away peacefully, Thursday, March 5, 2015, at Bayshore Health Care Center, Holmdel.  Born in Staten Island, NY but raised in Atlantic Highlands, she resided in Union Beach for over 50 years before moving to Keyport.  She retired from Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. 

Dorothy was predeceased by her beloved husband, Charles Mansfield Everson; her parents, Joseph and Dorothy (Hopkins) Ryan and a brother, Joseph Ryan Jr.  She is survived by two daughters, Teresa Bolte of Keyport and Carolyn Kingeter of Pt. Pleasant; a sister, Nancy Brooks of California; three granddaughters; and three great grandsons.  In her almost 90 full years of life and laughter, she enjoyed singing, crocheting many projects and gifts, playing a great game of Rummy 500, reading the newest novel by her favorite authors or spending time out for supper with friends.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
