Deborah (Donner) Sargeant

Deborah (Donner) Sargeant, 66, of South Amboy, passed away, Tuesday, January 9, 2018, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel.  Born in East Orange, she resided in Old Bridge prior to settling in South Amboy.  She was the owner/operator of Next Stop Deli, Cliffwood.  She graduated from Madison Township High School; attended UC Berkeley; and also a graduate of Winferd Academy of Beauty Culture.

Deborah was predeceased by her beloved husband, William Sargeant, in 2005; and her parents, Nathan and Margaret (Scott) Donner.  She is survived by two loving sons, Michael Sargeant and his wife Nancy Burke of Maryland and Keith Sargeant and his wife Melanie of Keyport; two dear brothers, Michael Donner of Ormond Beach, FL and Daniel Donner of Prescott, AZ; and three cherished grandchildren, Elizabeth, Emma and Penelope.  She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.
