Daniel Gary Dickey

Daniel Gary Dickey, 80, of Frisco, TX, formerly of Aberdeen, passed away, Tuesday, August 22, 2017, at home.  He was born in East Liverpool, OH; and resided in Aberdeen, prior to settling in Texas.  He retired from the Aberdeen Police Department as a police detective.  He was a member of the Aberdeen PBA and a graduate from the FBI National Academy in 1975. 

Daniel is survived by his beloved wife, Susan (Smith) Dickey; his loving children, David Dickey and his wife Kelli of Frisco, TX; Mark Dickey of Massachusetts; and Karen McCormick and her husband Joby of NJ; and four cherished grandchildren, James, Zachary, Brianna and Gary.  He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.

Visitation will take place on Friday, August 25, 2017, from 4-8 PM, at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ  07735, Saturday, August 26, 2017, 9:30AM, with a 10AM service at the funeral home.  Cremation will be private.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Daniel to the Reliant Hospice, 1101 Raintree Circle, Suite 180, Allen, TX  75013.  You may post a condolence to the family or obtain directions to the funeral home through the website www.dayfuneralhome.com.
