Catherine E. (Antonelli) Vandenameele

Catherine E. (Antonelli) Reinhold Vandenameele, 87, of Whiting, passed away in the arms of her beloved family Monday, March 26, 2018, at Coral Harbor Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Neptune City.  Born in New York City, she resided in Chatham, Florham Park, Middletown and Manchester.  Catherine loved spending her free time in Atlantic City; and loved her family and playing with her grandchildren. 

The family would like to thank the staff at Coral Harbor for the compassionate care given to Catherine and her family.

Catherine was predeceased by her husband, Frank Reinhold; and her parents, Vincent and Elizabeth (Campanelli) Antonelli.  She is survived by her beloved husband, Melvin Vandenameele; her loving children, Philip Covelli of Red Bank, Madeline Reinhold of Manfield, PA, Elizabeth McCormack and her husband John of Farmingdale, Karen Markowitz and her husband Lowell of Boynton Beach, FL, Frank Reinhold and his wife Debbie of Matawan and Christine Nalder and her husband Allan of Australia; her sister, Angie Sweeney of East Hanover; her brother, Mario Antonelli of PA; and her cherished grandchildren; Christopher, Kandice, Mark, Kathlyne, Stephanie, Jimmy, Karly, Vincent, Amanda, Jessica, Joseph, Oscar, and Allanah; and her precious great grandchildren, Caylee, Christopher, Alexis, Aubrey, and Caleb.  She also leaves behind many loved nieces and nephews.  She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends.  

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 28, 2018, 2-4 & 7-9PM, at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ  07735; and Thursday, March 29, 2018, 10AM, with a 10:30AM service at the funeral home.  Interment will follow at Cloverleaf Cemetery, Woodbridge.  You may post a condolence to the family or obtain directions to the funeral home through the website www.dayfuneralhome.com.
