Catherine M. (Caufield) Moore

Catherine M. (Caufield) Moore, 66, of Cliffwood Beach/Old Bridge Township, passed away, Saturday, March 10, 2018, at home.  Born in Newark, she grew up and resided there prior to settling in Cliffwood Beach 29 years ago.  She worked as an Actuarial in the Accounting Department of Prudential Life Insurance Company, Newark; and she was a member of the Keyport Historical Society.

Catherine was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert E. Moore, in 2010; and her parents, Laurence M. and Marie Evelyn (Tuite) Caufield.  She is survived by two sisters, Jane Burchardt and Marie E. Slugaski, both of North Carolina.  She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 14, 2018, from 4-8PM, at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ  07735 and Thursday, March 15, 2018, 9:15AM at the funeral home, with a 10AM Mass at St. Joseph RC Church, Keyport.  Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.  You may post a condolence to the family or obtain directions to the funeral home through the website www.dayfuneralhome.com.
