Carmelita A. (Anciano) Liaguno
December 5, 1937 ~ September 24, 2015 (age 77) 77 Years OldCarmelita A. (Anciano) Liaguno, 77, of Keyport, passed away, Thursday, September 24, 2015, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Naga City, Philipines, she resided in the United States since 1960. She worked as an O.R. nurse for 37 years at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. She was a parishioner with St. Joseph RC Church and a member of the Health Ministry.
Carmelita was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert V. Liaguno; her parents, Pedro and Julianna Anciano; two sisters, Leonila A. Mendoza and Consuelo Anciano; two brothers, Remedios Anciano and Arnold Anciano; and a grandson, James Lawrence Dorr. She is survived by her loving and devoted daughter, Angelita “Gigi” L. Liaguno-Dorr and her fiancé, Walter Van Orden; a sister, Natividad A. Misa; a brother, Antonio Anciano; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, James and Eleanor Anderson; three cherished grandchildren, Robert Vincent Dorr, Jake Dorr and Nicholas Van Orden; and many nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Family and friends are invited Sunday, September 27, 2015, from 4-8PM, at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ 07735; and Monday, September 28, 2015, 8:30AM at the funeral home, with a 9:15AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph RC Church, Keyport.
